The Joys of Judging! Myself and my fellow Judges, for the 2021 Virtual Big Ideas Central Region Green Final, held on Wednesday June 9th 2021

WOLVERHAMPTON, WEST MIDLANDS - UK: 12PM, MONDAY JULY 5TH 2021

I am extremely delighted and excited, to be able to today announce my appointment, as an Advisory Board Member for Sustainability focused Social Enterprise Solutions for the Planet!

Having taken part in Solutions Big Ideas Competition in both 2020 and 2021,  I share the collective ambition of the organisation who through an ever growing an impressive network of Schools and Businesses - along with the support of large numbers of Members of Parliament, to make "a generation of young people ready and able to respond to 21st century sustainability challenges.

"We want to create a world where sustainable practices are commonplace; every young person is equipped with enterprise skills that benefit people and planet; and social creativity, innovation and diversity is built into every business and workplace."

I give massive thanks to CEO Jen Baughan for enabling this unique and exciting opportunity and knowing the way that the West Midlands Combined Authority are leading the way - through there #WM2041 Climate Vision and the engagement which myself and fellow Young Combined Authority Members are having in making our nation and globe that greener, cleaner and sustainable place it needs to become; I feel in a strong position to help influence the team.

Finally, I am most thrilled that a younger person like myself; has such a chance and with I am extremely confident, that with such engagement with folks like myself, other younger people will also have doors opened and I will use that enthusiasm in the biggest possible way - knowing of the mission seeing HOPE In Action!
